How to play Yukon Solitaire
Bring your attention to one round of Yukon Solitaire. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Look at what changes after your first action.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Keep the aim in sight
Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.
Step by step
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Check any mode label before starting.
A useful example
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Look for the relevant detail.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
